We finally got around to updating the BANNED libretto to match our 2024 Edinburgh Fringe performances. We wanted to figure out how to use Final Draft as our script writing tool of choice and they recently had an offer to upgrade to the latest release. Version 13 may sounds spooky, but we're impressed with its capabilities. The functionality is tailored for the needs of writers and we've learned how to integrate our music into the process too. We had to cut the original script down for the 60 minute format and the actors had all sorts of input on their lines. In the final days before Fringe we focused on changes in the book, song length and tweaking the vocal harmonies. It's important to capture all these sorts of things for performances in the future.
